The Judas Within

Judas as the tale goes, betrayed Jesus for 30 silver coins to the high priest, a betrayal that proved both controversial and meaningful that has had scholars debating for years. One of Judas’s main weaknesses seemed to be money. Another imaginable cause is that Judas expected Jesus to overthrow Roman rule of Israel. In this view, Judas is a disillusioned disciple betraying Jesus not so much since he loved money, however since he loved his nation and thought Jesus had failed it.
